Clothing FAQ

Why have you decided to create organic clothing?
At LissieLou we believe that we have a responsibility to reduce our Carbon Footprint and also help our customers to do the same!

Organic Cotton produces around 46% less CO2e compared to conventional cotton and uses much less water to grow. Buying Organic Cotton enhances the natural resources around the world, and it reduces the synthetic chemicals in freshwater sources… and is better for the planet!

We chose to create Organic clothing which is Fair Wear Certified as it keeps farmers from using harmful chemicals to grow their crops and helps them provide for their families by providing them with a better wage.

Organic cotton is also very strong and resilient so holds its high-quality and durability wear after wear, meaning it will last!
